Default Google Merchant / Product Condition (Used / New) Problem..Please help

Hey guys. Im pretty much new to this boards but have been running zencart on my site for a little while now. Originally I had only Used parts listed on my website and everything worked well when it came to listed items on Google merchant feeder. The way I had it all set up was by having "Default Condition" in "Google Merchant Center Feeder Configuration" set to used.

Now I started working with new parts and Im having big issues with regards to condition. I have two categories on my website, one for new parts and one for used parts. How can I set up my system, so that "Condition" of the items in "New Parts" is set to New and "Condition" of items in "Used Parts" is set to "used"?

Im using eMagic One Store Manager by the way.

    Thanks guys!

If you are still looking for an answer to this, in the attributes controller you need to set an attribute called Condition with the values of New and Used, and set it to Read Only (since you don't need the customer to choose between them). Then go to one of the products in New and apply the attribute of Condition: New to it, then take this and say Copy to Category, and copy this new attribute to the whole category. This is what you do for any of Google Merchant's attributes, such as color, gender, etc.

This is assuming that you are using the Google Merchant Feed plugin, which will populate all this data the correct way and create a data feed for Google Merchant.

Also, when you do this the read-only attributes will then show up on the product info page. There is a way to hide this, it took awhile for me to find the answer in google, but it is possible, just not remember how I did it. If this is something you need I can try to remember how I did it if you can't find it...
