Attribute controller for each item quantity

Can is it possible to have attibute controllers with multiple text fields equal to quantity of products (amount), by backoffice?

I think I understand ... let me try to restate:

You want a TEXT-type attribute that will display a varying number of TEXT boxes, based on the quantity that the customer has entered. If the customer enters a quantity of 1, there is one text-box displayed; if the customer enters a quantity of 2, there are 2 text-boxes displayed, etc.

If that's an accurate description, then the answer is No -- there is not an attribute type that will do that. For each different "Text" value (e.g. for engraving or embroidering), the customer needs to choose a quantity of product with the current text-field, add that to their cart and then choose the product again to identify the different text-value.

Is it the customer that is in question or the admin? From what little I had found about this module, it seemed like it was an admin interface. Does that change the answer? (I mean, seems like would have to iterate on the text fields keeping the other information constant, and treat like adding multiple products at once.)
