I inherited this site and do have an upgrade scheduled.
The Counter History in the admin lists only today all ten times. In phpMyAdmin, the table is recording today over and over. See attached images.
/includes/counter.php is unedited.

Php version running on this website?
If you try to add a new product, and only put a few words in the description, when you go back to edit the product are the words gone?

PHP: 5.3.28
I was able to add a product and go back to edit it without any issues.
