Captcha not working, tried uninstalling, still not completing.

Hi There,

I've been struggling with this problem for a while now, basically, I had reCaptcha installed and it was working fine across both searches and contact enquiries, then it stopped (but I have no idea at what point, whether it was a day after I installed it, or 3 months) which broke both contact us and search completion ability, I tried reinstalling, and uninstalling to the best of my ability to no avail, I must've missed code somewhere thats still refering to the old reCaptcha script. Can someone assist me just getting me back to having a working contact form and search (currently disabled) - checking the log file it doesn't seem to now update with the failure, although this could just be a server delay I guess? URL is dildowarehouse . co . uk. (adult toy store incase people don't want to see those products)

Running version 1.5.1 - I would rather update to 1.5.3 when I know all functions are working correctly and could really use getting my front end search back (admin search still works fine).

Database: MySQL 5.5.36
PHP Version: 5.3.28 (Zend: 2.3.0)

What mod did you use? The two I see in the Plugins area don't say anything about search.

I'm pretty certain it was Google reCAPTCHA - I can turn the search back on if you'd like so I can see if a log file is generated for the search query?

This is a good problem to have. Captcha's are a notorious sales killer. The sooner they all die (and replaced with server side spam filtering methods) the happier I will be.

I'm far from alone of this opinion.
