Default upgrading to temp site directory v1.5.4 - rename temp to golive?

Hello, I followed the direction on this page

    https://www.zen-cart.com/content.php?140

    B. If you have NO CUSTOMIZATIONS to preserve, here's a high-level overview/summary of a slightly shorter process:

I was wondering, after I upgrade my site on the temp directory and it all seems to be working ok. Can I just change the directory name back from temp name to the original store's name and just edit the config files to reflect that, or do I have to do this who process all over again on the original directory to upgrade?

    Thanks

Back up your site from the server as well as the copy on your computer.
    Backup your database
Create a new directory and copy your site into it
Then create a new database and load your old database in it
Next, change the two configure.php files to utilize the new directory and database
This way ... when you attempt to upgrade you are "practicing" to see where the problems, if any will happen
Make sure all appears to be working on your temp site.
Now load the "new" version files to your new temp directory (from latest downloaded ZIP)
    Run the http://www.your_domain_name.com/your...ite/zc_install
    Choose the Upgrade Database option
Process each suggested step one at a time ... leave the first checkbox that the upgrader picked checked and uncheck the others.
-Advantage is that you can see your problems step by step
-Each time it completes it will recheck the boxes left to go.
-Continue in this method until all boxes are unchecked.
If you find you have issues, you are not hurting anything and can always start over without damage to your existing shop and live database.

If you are fully satisified with the database as it is and the files as they are, then: https://www.zen-cart.com/content.php...that-directory

Understand that the database that is associated with your current "upgrade" is only as up-to-date with your live site as the last interaction someone had in the live site that exists in your new site...

That said, if you follow the complete instruction, at the bottom it indicates that when you get ready to update the live database, you can keep all of the checkboxes checked because you've already worked out everything right? :) me personally, I'd forgotten about the suggestion to upgrade the database one step at a time and have often seen it suggested to just go for gusto all the way to the last one in one run... Somebody thought it was a good idea at some point to do that slower...
