Is there an automated way to remove discontinued products via a feed?

Hi,

Wanted to ask, is their any kind of software that will work with zin cart to remove discontinued products from a website, I have a vendor that I deal with and they have discontinued products every month and I have to take them off by hand each month. Right now I have about 1200 products that I need to get off my site. I would love to get a software that will do this for me, the download file from them is CSV and someone said a XML would remove product from my site, please help if anyone knows of a system that I can install for this problem, I thank you in advance.

EasyPopulate offers product removal through CSV file type upload...
May require some modification of either your CSV or the way EasyPopulate reads in your CSV(s) in order to more quickly automate the task, but in EP4 a product status of 9 will remove the product.
Before jumping on that wagon, be advised that every product must have or be able to be assigned a unique model#, otherwise, the plugin doesn't work so well for the product...

I thank you so much for the information about this matter, I have a question for you, are you saying model # as the same thing of a product #? for the supplier I deal with has Style #'s or product # for a item? Thanks,

PS. Well I need to also say, at this time I don't have anyone working with me on my site, so i need to find someone that could install this for me on my site and if I find someone, do you have any idea what the cost would be to have someone to install this for me on my site?

Wait, I guess i should have said the company sends me a excel file every month with all the discontinued items so the system you are speaking about would it take all those items off ?
