problems inserting new categories

Hello,

I am try to insert new categories. However, I get no message or fault mentioning on the screen of the website. But as a result I see that the new categorie is not made.
I am using zencart 1.5.1 and PHPmyadmin Versie-informatie: 4.0.10.6
But in the log file I see the following message: Access denied for user 'xxxx'@'localhost' (using password: NO) in /home/xxx/public_html/admin2hema/includes/functions/database.php on line 57
I can eventualy add new categorie via phpmyadmin, but I try to avoid this.

Can someone give me any clou how to solve this via the zencart page.

How did it come that this site had 1.5.1 installed on it? I'm assuming that as a long time member to the forum that it was installed via some form of an upgrade... Would you mind answering the remaining questions of the posting tips?

I started a new webpage from scratch. The only thing what I added from the old webpage is the costumers. All the product etc we started from scratch. This was done on purpose to avoid mix up problems.
I did a full install from zencart 1.5.1.
I added the template and added some 1.5 related plugins to it.
Then I started to add some categories. Here started the problems with new categories. I added them now via phpmyadmin.
