I'm new to these forums so I'm sorry if I am posting this in the wrong place.
I really hope there is somebody out there who can advise me on an issue I am having with my site http://www.anglerscorner.co.uk

I'm having an issue when customers are creating accounts, they are being asked to write in their 'State' in the text box (which is what I want). But when that information is submitted it says 'Please select a state from the States pull down menu', even though I have set 'State - Always display as pulldown?' as 'False' in Admin. I have tried stitching it back and fore to see if it would correct itself but I am continuing to have the issue.

As this was causing me problems I have had to resort to setting 'State' as false in admin as well until I can fix it. Which really isn't ideal.

I really do not need the 'Dropdown' functionality for the States and am more than happy for the information to be filled in by customers. Could somebody please point me in the right direction or recommend how I can resolve this please?
