There seems to be a good bit of database structural changes from 1.5.3 to 1.5.4 which is causing a number of plugins (that involves sql modifications) that is listed as 1.5.x compatible to not work properly. It would really help a lot if the plugin compatibility information is a bit more accurate as compatible with 1.5.x is no longer true. Just an observation.
