Product Description won't save....Goes blank on each edit!

Help.

I've been using Zen Cart for 5 years now. I've never encountered this problem.

I was trying to update a product description and it previews okay. But when I press update and go to the page, there's no description.

Most likely your host upgraded your PHP version.

I found a decent workaround for the time being. I just logged into my database and edited the product_description table for the product I wanted to change. This worked perfectly as it eliminated php.

this will save me hours and won't be a long term problem as the site will only be live for another 5 months.

I thought everyone should know this.

Don't forget that PHP is still used for everything else about the site, such as making a purchase... Would suggest verifying that all applicable/necessary information is maintained throughout the purchase process (notes from buyer, options, etc...) Otherwise these last 5 months might be for nothing...
