Edits in admin lead to blank pages

Hi all

I have just upgraded from 1.5.0 to 1.5.4 using the winmerge technique

The site seems to be working fine but when in the admin back end, if I go to (for example) Configuration>My Store>Store Name>Edit and then click the update button the url switches from ../configuration.php?gID=1&cID=1&action=edit to .../configuration.php?gID=1&cID=1&action=save .

Although the data is saved I am left with a blank page and have to hit the back button on the browser.

Any suggestions?

Start looking in the logs folder of Zen Cart, a white page, or partially white page means that there is a error log file created. I you post the contents of the latest admin error log we may be able to help you further.

I download my directory and using winmerge compared it with the original zencart v1.5.4 download.

It looks like a missed a few files which I have now uploaded.

The odd thing is that there are lot of other files that winmerge insists are different but seem to be identical.

I shall check the error logs and post back if I have nay problems.

If winmerge says files are different, but the contents is the same, then the probability is that the line endings are different. There should be an option somewhere, to ignore line ending differences.
