    Idea or Suggestion message from paypal for ipn failure

    Hi,

    I USE PAYPAL EXPRESS CHECKOUT FOR MY WEBSITE AND TODAY I GOT THIS FROM PAYPAL . KINDLY ADVICE WHAT TO DO NOW.THE PAGE MENTIONED EXISTS



    Hello ABCD,

    Please check your server that handles PayPal Instant Payment Notification (IPN) messages. Messages sent to the following URL(s) are not being received:

    https://wholesaleloosecz.com/ipn_main_handler.php

    If you do not recognize this URL, you may be using a service provider that is using IPN on your behalf. Please contact your service provider with the above information.

    Once you or your service provider fix this problem, you or your service provider can resend the failed messages from the IPN History page. If this problem continues, PayPal may disable the IPN feature for your account.

    Thank you for your prompt attention to this issue.

    Does that URL they gave you match your website?

    • What version of Zen Cart are you using?
    • Has your site been upgraded? When? From what version(s)?
    • If you've upgraded, HOW did you upgrade? (official upgrade procedure or an automated script from your hosting company?)
    • What plugins/addons have you installed? When? If your problems are payment-related, what payment module(s) are you using? If it's shipping-related, which shipping module(s) are you using?
    • If your problems are language-pack related (non-English), have you checked that all the language files are loaded and correct?
    • HOW did you install Zen Cart? (upload via FTP and run zc_install, or a one-click install from your hosting company? (one-click installs might mean you don't have enough information about your site/server to make customizations easily))
    • What version of PHP and MySQL is your server using? (See Admin->Tools->Server Info)
    • WHEN did the problem "start"? How does that compare with other events of your hosting company, changes you've made to your site files/addons, or your admin settings, etc?
    • Please post the contents of related "debug logs" generated by Zen Cart and PayPal logs stored as part of PayPal transaction processing.
    • If this is your first store, have you tested all aspects of transactions before going live?
    • In what ways is your site customized or different from a brand new uncustomized install?
    • Please post your site URL* so we can take a look at it. This is especially important if you're encountering display/layout problems, so the problem can be seen directly.
    • If you're encountering problems that could be related to your server or hosting company, include the name of your hosting company (not their URL).

    2. upgraded from 153 , initially using 153 but after PayPal poddle vulnerability changed to154

    3 . official upgradation . I do the uogradation in local xampp and then uploaded all files to server.

    4. Yes , payment related . paypal express checkout I am using after poddle vulnerabity , initially in 153 it was paypal IPN

    5. website is in english , the paypal account belongs to CHINA

    6. worked in my local machine and uplaod via FTP

    7. PHP Version 5.4.34 Database: MySQL 5.5.40-36.1-log

    8. problem starts after I change from PayPal IPN to checkout

    9. no debug log , PayPal log was set alert only , now i changed it to log file

    10 . yes i have tested PayPal but with a single product.

    11. have quite a few add on install.

    It could be related to several things. Of the plugins you mention, Ultimate SEO and COWOA and contain code that interacts with checkout and changes the normal way it works. I'm not blaming them yet, but pointing out that they could be implicated.

    Start with this:
    - Enable PayPal Debug Logging in your PayPal Standard module: http://www.zen-cart.com/showthread.p...Logging-PayPal
    - Do a transaction ... ie: make a purchase, or wait for a customer to complete a purchase.
    - Then use FTP to look in the /logs/ folder for the ipn-xxxxxxx.log files
    Inside those logs will be status messages about processing every incoming IPN notice, and any failures or problems will be visible there, even if the problem is simply that it aborted without finishing all the steps.
