Adsense - can adsense be placed inside an EZ page ?

I am using ZC for a particular site not as an eCommerce site but which will have Adsense and general on topic information (reason, I want it to be responsive and my CMS isn't responsive).

I know I can put Adsense code in banners and sideboxes but can I place ads in an EZ page, place it strategically inside the page? i.e. put in in a particular place on the page? (maybe with text wrap etc. - I have just loaded CK Editor)

Maybe. But definitely not with CKEditor. Turn it off so that you edit the page in Plain Text mode only. Otherwise the editor likely will strip out your javascript code.

Why would you want to re-direct customers to the competition? Once a person leaves a site, there's only a 20% chance they will return. You earn fractions of a cent with adsense. Far better to incentivise your visitors to make their purchase on your site, and the only place you want them to leave the site from is your checkout_success page.

I studiously avoid external links on my ecommerce sites. I'm in business for myself - not my competitors.

I totally agree - however this is not an eCommerce site - I am simply using the responsive ZC template because the CMS program I have is not responsive and I am at least familiar with ZC. Works well - using CK editor I simply add the Adsense script to the page using 'source' - if interested see it here Mothers Day

Also, in the context of what Dr Byte has said... when you EDIT the page at any point in the future, you need to make sure CK editor is OFF before you open the page for editing. Work only in "source" mode to start with, because CK editor will probably strip out and JS, or other code.

What I do in these situations, is COPY the full source code in the window, and save it in notepad - just in case CK strips out any code.

If you toggle to WYSISYG while working, remember to switch back to SOURCE MODE before saving any edits.
