Image handler hover no longer working on attributes

Hi there :)

I'm hoping someone can help me with an issue I am experiencing with my website. Some of my products have attribute photos, and a lot of them! LOL! They were originally set up to show as small thumbnail photos and then would enlarge when hovering over them. I noticed the other day that this option is no longer working on my site....the pictures are showing large and overlapping each other and just looks horrible I was told that this may be due to an 'automatic' zen cart update??? Not sure if that is possible or not. In any event, I need to fix this and cannot find any instructions on how to do so. Any suggestions? Couple of questions to be answered may help with resolution:

What were the conditions under which this was working properly before? (ZC version, php version, etc... What of those has changed since it was last verified functional and for example the php version may have been changed by your host.)
What has changed that you know of since the last time you verified this functionality?
As for any type of "automatic" ZC update, ZC doesn't push updates to the server (at this time), so the only automatic update I could think of is if you upgraded your ZC software through a one-click install program instead of following any of the published procedures.
I see/saw what it looks like now, not sure I understand what it was supposed to look like, but yes below the dropdown selecter there are several overlapping images all very large. Do you know/have the software that was installed to make this perform as desired and does it need to be reinstalled?
Any error logs in your logs folder (myDebugxxx)?

Some of what you have asked kinda flew over my head! LOL! While I am somewhat familiar with Zen cart with regards to maintaining my site, I hired someone to set it up initially for me. My site was upgraded to the current version about a month ago and all was fine....I have no idea about the PHP. As far as I know, nothing changed from the last time I verified the site was in working order. Last Friday is when I noticed that there was a problem with a lot of the changes I made, such as my old pixelly logo reappeared, the add to cart button moved from the bottom of the page to near the top, the discount pricing box moved from the top of the page to the bottom of the page, the attribute photos changed from thumbnails that you can hover over to large and overlapped and the Image Handler mod was gone. I immediately contacted my host and what I was told was that the problem was caused by 'automatic updating'. For all I know, this could a BS line but don't want to jump to any conclusions! LOL! At the end of the day, I just need to figure out how to fix this

No, that's fine if didn't understand the question(s). Perhaps you could identify which need more clarification, be glad to offer more detailed assistance or reference to information. (I think anyone responding fits that bill.)

The current php version can be identified by logging into the admin panel and selecting the version link in the upper right hand corner. The php version (as well as a number of other useful information) is provided in the upper portion of the screen.

As for "image handler" there is a program available from this website that is titled image handler and the version applicable to your site would be version 4. Would you mind identifying if that is the program installed that may have been setup/modified to give those results? Can tell by going to the admin panel, tools and identifying if there is an menu option of Image Handler 4.

Generally what it seems like has happened is that your template selection may have changed...

Would you mind also while in the admin panel going to tools->template (sorry forgot the actual name but it's usually like the second option in the list)

From there, identify at the bottom right, how many templates are recognized, and if the current template at the top right looks like the named template you expect?

If not, you could also do a little investigation to see why or "by whom" it changed by reviewing the admin activity log. But will leave that discussion for later if necessary. :)

Thank you for your guidance in finding more information

- I currently have php version 5.4.37.
- I can confirm that IH4 has was reinstalled onto my website yesterday. I was hoping that a simple reinstall would fix the problem but it didnt From what I can remember, it was IH4 that was installed previously that 'disappeared' last week when this problem was discovered.
- The templates section is showing at the bottom right two installed; Classic Contemporary Green and A Pink Boutique. The named template in the top right says A Pink Boutique.

Are you using the mod "Attribute Rollovers"?
This may not work with IH4 out of the box

No, I'm not using Attribute Rollovers. As far as I know, IH4 has the hover option.

You are using this mod Attribute Rollovers for the attribute images.
And this is the part causing problems
The relevent css is missing from your stylesheet

It might be part of the template you are using?

Nothing to do with IH4

I added the CSS from this mod to your page and it "fixed" your display

Have youou chechecked that IH4 is enabled? And the IH hover function is enabled?
