Default change product image with drop down menu

    V1.54 - new install
    Responsive all business template

I have had a look around but have not seen an add-on where changing the choice in a drop down menu changes the product image.

    Something like this:
    http://www.jaspaljandu.com/gallery/p...e&gallery_ID=2

I have had a look at several possibilities but there are no demos and I have no wish to install something not suitable.

    Does anyone have an idea?

    Thanks.

I haven't tried it, but it seems that Stock By Attributes as modified by potteryhouse offers some form of it, but as far as the plugins, perhaps you could do a little homework by reviewing the applicable thread for sites of people that have indicated that they have installed the software and maybe see the operation... Setup a demo site for yourself and try the software... Or wait until someone responds with something that suits your interest

Can someone tell me where to find the code which writes the dropdown menu and fills it with the attributes please?

    thanks.

Generally speaking the dropdowns are populated by:

    includes/modules/YOUR_TEMPLATE/attributes.php

If the file does not exist in the template active for your site (YOUR_TEMPLATE used as an example) then the file used is includes/modules/attributes.php. Modification should be made after copying it to your template directory as an override file and then the override file should be modified.

Thanks, but way over my head. I think I will give this a miss.
