Help needed - php template question

Hi guys,

I want to make my ON PAGE EXIT light box code go site wide as I have 1000s of pages.

Can anyone suggest any info on how to put the generated code I have in to my sites template safely. Perhaps a step by step guide someone has done on the forum or on a wiki site.

Without more about the code and it's function I would guess that in a copy for your template of includes/templates/common/tpl_main_page.php might be the file to add it to as this loads with almost all pages

Yes that will do the trick, but since yesterday i have changed my mind for the whole site as an exit pop up will bother customers and certain other areas of the site the same, is there a php template file that covers just the product pages?

More about the code is a simple exit pop up script that can be placed anywhere on a single page and will do an exit pop up offer. I just want a template file that will cover my 1000s of product pages as implementation of code on a page by page basis would not be possible.

If you mean the actual product page you might look at
includes/templates/templates/tpl_product_info_display.php
