Default Slow, then fast, then slow, then fast...

Load times vary. Hosting company can't figure it out. They say it has to be my zen cart. Thought I would check with the pros in the Forums. Below are 3 different readings at my home page (operationhomebrew.com/store) hitting F5 over the course of 3 minutes or so:

    Parse Time: 8.941 - Number of Queries: 366 - Query Time: 8.8187400540009

    Parse Time: 3.489 - Number of Queries: 364 - Query Time: 3.3556967748108

    Parse Time: 14.526 - Number of Queries: 367 - Query Time: 14.6167279543

What the heck is going on?
    Thanks!
    Andrew

I may have stumbled across an answer...

Optimized the zen cart database in myphp admin, problem seems to be solved. If anyone has this issue in the future and needs to know how to optimize the database, let me know and I can walk you through it.

My database was over a year old, so...yup. I guess you're supposed to maintain your database or something ;-)

Comes to no surprise to me: GoDaddy is notorious for overloading their servers.

I accessed your site and found the same quick/slow/quick etc load times. Unlikely that your DB is the culprit.

I am using the same template on one of my sites and this template usually loads very fast.

My humble suggestion: change to a more reliable host.
