    Default Create Template From Scratch

ok so I downloaded zen cart v 154. I want to create my own template. I was practicing with firebug and with is what I want my pages to look like.

I forgot to mention bf it was a script, I have now uninstalled that so that I may upload zen from my hd, but now I cannot get the ftp to work so that I may upload it. Can some one take me step-by-step on how to create my own template as shown in the image. also a little help on the ftp.

    Thank You

Start with the FTP problems. What FTP program are you using, and what exactly are the problems you're having?

I tried to upload the zen cart from my hd to my ftp server, but I couldn't get it to log me in through either fireftp or filezilla it says: on fireftp 530 Login authentication failed. Do I need to delete everything on x10 hosting and start over?

Not necessarily. That error means you're using the wrong user name or password. Generally the FTP credentials will be the same as your hosting control panel (CPanel) user name and password.

I don't recommend 'free' hosting services like X10, mainly because there's no such thing as 'free'.

    Here

I had suggested to uninstall the script install, although like stevesh has told you that doesn't have anything to do with you not being able to access the server.
As for the upload you could use the control panel upload function - I prefer ftp.

    And remember to READ 1.readme_installation.html

Just to make clear you have to read it, there are some file renaming, and permissions setting you HAVE to do before, also you need to have created MySql db, and know it's path - usually localhost, but might be something else - db name, db user, db password.
