Did you use zip/gzip compression when exporting the old DB?

If not, you may exceed the max upload limit when importing your DB

    33mb - max 50. Successfully uploaded.

Next issue, I can't find the zc_install folder, only tpl_zc_install_suggested_default.php

It is part of your ZC installation files - you find that folder on the bottom of the folder hierarchy.

Once you found it, upload only that folder (zc_install) to your server then rename your admin folder to "admin", make sure that your 2 configure.php files are set to 444 or 400, then run yoursite.com/yourtestsite/zc_install

I installed ZC using installatron in cPanel on remote server. I ran a search from the top level of the folder hierarchy, - definitely no zc_install folder. Can I download a ZC package from the forum, and then FTP that folder to yoursite.com/yourtestsite/zc_install ?

    In short, yes.

But, for future installations NEVER use something like installatron, softacoulos or fantastico - these auto-installers are prone to failures resulting in headaches.

starting to get an understanding. I changed the DB_PREFIX in the 2 configure files. Feeling chuffed.
