Language changes by itself?

I have this weird thing going on.
I am building my webshop local, on my computer.
My store is in Holland and so I have set the dutch language as default. English is the second choise.
The problem I seem to have is that when I am working on my website(catalog), with the language set to english, every now and then, it goes back to dutch by itself.
I haven't found out when it happens, but what I ask myself is, is this only a local thing or is this also going to happen whem my store goes online in a couple of months? What could be the problem?

Good question to ask yourself; however, difficult to receive help with the information provided so far.

When you say it goes back to dutch, how are you able to tell this? Does the uri contain the language redefine to dutch or does the content change to dutch words? Is there an equivalent english version of the text that is dutch?

Are you able to consistently reproduce the change back to dutch when english has been selected as the language of choice? Does the same occurrence happen when temporarily using the classic template? What plugins are installed?

More than likely if nothing is done to correct the issue locally, the same thing is likely to occur on the live site...

I would like to answer al of your questions, but offcorse now it doesn't change

What I can tell you so far, is that when i have clicked the english flag, everything is in english and then after doing, i don't know what, everything is in dutch words again. (like, as if a ghost clicked on the dutch button) Not right away, but every ones in a while.

Every file i have in dutch, i also have in english. At least that is what i think
Lets say it this way. If i, for instance, click on categories in the menu, it normaly doesn't changes the language, but this morging it did, and now it isn't again. So that tels me, i think, that it isn't a missing language file problem?

I don't know what triggers it. By that i mean, i haven't found out, if it is a button i click or if it has something to do with waiting to long, or....

I'm a little further in to it.
In the admin my store the language selector is set to default (that is good because i don't want the browser to decide)
My country and zone is set the the Netherlands
And also the locatization languages is set the default on the dutch language.

I am trying to find what causes this, but haven't got any further then, no activity on the catalog end for a while (say 30 minutes, i don't know)

No I don't Frank, I allready have a live shop for a few years now, so i'm building this one on my computer to replace the live one in a couple of weeks. I know it's not easy to help me when you can not take a look.
