Called Mail() without being connected

I'm unable to log into a clients admin, and they can't either.

I've reset the password via phpMyAdmin and when I log in, I get:

Email Error: The following From address failed: [email protected] : Called Mail() without being connected

I can see the E-Mail Transport Method is smtpauth but that email address is in none of the email configure values. A search through the db returns zero results.

Since I was able to get into the db, I changed the 'E-Mail Transport Method' value from smtpauth to PHP and that fixed it. I tried that before posting by apparently it is case sensitive as php did not work.
