Why won't ckeditor work

I just signed into my admin and went to tools/ define page manager and it is up. I guess the last upload of the

/home/e4mpdnk7/public_html/includes/languages/english/extra_definitions/ckeditor.php worked even if it's the wrong size.

Now I'm scared to get off this page for fear it won't be there when I come back up again.

mc12345678 if you go the a 1.54 zencart under the docs folder I am following the instructions on 1 readme_installation. This is the step I am talking about.

configure.php files
You will now want to change the permissions on the configure.php files with chmod 644 (or 444 depending on your server...and sometimes setting 444 cannot be done via FTP, in which case use your host's control panel or file manager to set the permissions level.)

These are located in:
/catalog/includes/configure.php
/catalog/admin/includes/configure.php

Okay, got it now. Big difference between changing or modifying the file and changing the permissions. Understandable that the difference may not be known/understood, but that's why we all ask so many questions.

As to the issue with the logged error, something doesn't seem right because the file displayed has nothing to do with the error reported (at least it does not load the code that supposedly is attempted).
