Date of Birth still in Customer Account Creation

When creating a new customer account the user is required to input their date of birth.

I've turned off the DOB requirement in the admin panel and I've blanked out the minimum length of the field

What else do I need to do?

1. Go to http://secure.edbeckphotography.com/...create_account
2. Observe that "Date of Birth" is a required field.

What steps have you taken?

• Admin Home > Configuration > Customer Details > Date of Birth > False
• Admin Home > Configuration > Minimum Values > Date of Birth > Blank
• I've also tried setting the Minimum Value to "0"

This is just a wild guess but I don't have DOB turned on and I have no problem. Do you already have customers with DOB entered into database? Maybe that is interfering? I'm interested now so I'll be back to find out what it is.

Another question, what template are you using?

I'd guess that your commercial template has replaced the standard Zencart Create Account form with its own. Search your template files for dob.

I searched my template files for "dob" and for "date of birth" and found nothing.

I looked at all the options on the template customization page and didn't find anything related to dob.

I Googled Shopfast dob and Shopfast "date of birth" and haven't found anything.

I've also contacted Shopfast to ask if they require a date of birth and have not heard back yet.

Any other suggestions?

There are no customers in the database. This is a fresh install.
