Question about responsive templates

Hi all,

Please excuse my naivete in this matter. As i haven't worked with responsive templates yet and I have noticed a couple that I was looking at to install on a test site I have locally on one of my PCs have SQL scripts.

Some only have one script, at least one had 1 script labelled new, and that same had upgrade resposnive 1.0 - 2.0 and 2.0a. WHne do I need to use them?


My test site has the Classic Green and the responsive template Devine fine. Which script would I use to install respon Classic Silver and SHeffield Blue?

Also, I noticed that these templates are replacing some core files in includes/modules/pages, as I am testing trying to find a template layout I like, would it make better sense to make a template folder in that location and place the appropriate file in it?
