Aaah! I got it... for anyone else in the stylesheet.css you need to have it as:

.slimmenu li.aboutus-li{display:none;}
.slimmenu li.customer-service-li{display:none;}
.slimmenu li.brands-li{display:none;}


and for the mobile side also add this to the stylesheet.css

.slimmenu.collapsed li.aboutus-li{display:none;}
.slimmenu.collapsed li.customer-service-li{display:none;}
.slimmenu.collapsed li.brands-li{display:none;}

I'm trying to remove some elements like brands and about us, but the above does not work. In fact, the brands-li does not appear to be present, so perhaps things have changed since the posting. Can anyone direct me to where these items can be suppressed? (I should be explicit and say that it's the ribbon menu that I'm trying to change.)

I just installed the template and I like it but the header menu is not right, don't think it should be displaying like this, i.e. "HEADER_TITLE_CATEGORIES", "HEADER_TITLE_MANUFACTURERS", etc....screen shot.jpg

It looks like you have not uploaded all of the template language files.

Okay, I have another question...my banner slideshow image is suppose to be 625x200 but the image is stretched to fill the width of the screen, is this a css setting and if so which css file?

Also, the tagline under my logo will not display the first letter as capitalized, thought that was really weird...any suggestions?

Okay, 3 questions, lol, on my screen (1600 pixels) my main page shows the categories images in the body of the page out of alignment, see screenshot below:screen shot.jpg

You can change the width of the slide show in the stylesheet_flex.css.

You can remove the text-transform:lowercase in the stylesheet.css

If you post a link to your site I can take a look at your category images.

Add this:

min-height:185px;

to the .common-wrap in the stylesheet.css file.
