URL from category page (at bottom) not working

When viewing a specific items (https://www.annsceramics.com/angels-...62-p-1848.html) there is a statement "For more information visit this items webpage". This link is supposed to go to the items .pdf which is the painting instructions for that item. However, it is linking to the front page of the website (www.annsceramics.com).

When going to the admin area, category, angels, k3162 and "edit" the items. Almost to the bottom "Product URL" you will enter the link for the painting directions "annsceramics.com/pdf/k3162.pdf". I have changed it to "/pdf/k3162.pdf" which should give you an error code and still it returns to the front page of our website.

This is fairly simple process and I can't figure out what is going on other than when the last update/upgrade was accomplished, something is missing in the process.

I have been using ZenCart since 2007 with normal updates/upgrades. I have and IT person (Donny W) and he has handled all the customizations and updates/upgrades for the last 5 years. I am extremely pleased with the work he does for me, but this has him baffled.

Customization include a "Wish List" and when continue shopping the link will go back to the last page the customer visited. Hosting company "BlueHost".

Any ideas?

That's not a ZC core code bug.

It's most likely that your template, and the code that handles URL redirects, are from an older version.
