Is it possible to make one product have both physical or downloadable options?

Hello,

I was wondering if someone might be able to help me out. I've bee trying to figured this out for hours. Is it possible to have a single product have both physical or downloadable shipping options (not a combo)? I sell digital music on my store and am trying to have it where the customer has the option (from a drop down) to purchase just the downloadable zip file or, for an additional fee, a physical copy + shipping).

I have my site set up where 0 weight items count as free shipping (digital items) and this seems to work fine if I want to have 1 product page just for the physical cd and another page for the digital download. However to keep the site clean it would be nice if the choice could be made on just one individual page.

I've seen a bunch of post about setting up the combo feature, but that is not what I am going for. I was hoping someone might be able to shed some light on this. I'm probably just over looking something simple!

I figured it out. It was something small I was over looking. Turns out you can set individual weight to each option value.

I wonder how you configure your product finally. Do you have a site where I can see what is look like for the customer ?
You simply gave a weight to an option for the shipping fee ? Do you sell it for the same price (downloadable vs CD) ?


I have the same need but for document (downloadable - free shipping or print with shipping fee and higher price) and I dont want to make two different product in my store.
