Import product from one ZC store to another

Hello,

Can I import products from one ZC store into another (given that they are the same version). Reason being I have 3 niche jewelry product stores and now I want to create a single store containing all the products from each of the three existing stores - I do not need to duplicate customers or orders etc, just products.

How can this be done?

One would need to fully understand the database to accomplish this owing to numbering sequence and relationships between the tables and have the tools to manipulate this data

easiest might be to put easy populate on the three, bring down the products from each, munge the three into one, and install on the new site.

This sounds promising - I assume Easy Populate produces a data spreadsheet csv file not unlike a Google Merchant file or an eBay or Amazon file ?? (e.g. I can download a csv file from my Etsy shop and then upload it into Bonanza or Shopify or the likes by putting the data in the correct columns according to their individual 'templates').

So by 'munge' the three into one you mean to correlate them into a single file then with the new 'virgin' site with Easy Populate loaded, upload this merged file and all products would be listed ?? Will it configure the various categories as well ?

p.s. I signed up 3 days ago with Shopify on a 14 day free trial - within 24 hours I had downloaded csv files from 4 Etsy shops, 'munged' them to suit the Shopify csv template and had all 300 products loaded onto a working site in their 4 categories - I will likely not proceed with this, just used it as a trial - am hoping Easy Populate will work in a similar manner (I did the same in duplicating Etsy shops into Bonanza)

Will want to be sure that if product has attributes, that that version of Easy Populate supports them as I thought there was only one version of EP that did. (EasyPopulate v4)

Thanks Kobra but that version does not work in v1.5.1 - EasyPopulate 4, by another author (not yet in Plugins) downloadable here at Github: https://github.com/chaddro/EasyPopulate-4.0 - does work in 1.5.1

More to the point I was wondering if in principal loading data from EP from 3 existing sites merged into one file into a virgin ZC site will achieve what I am looking for ?? I know how EasyPopulate works but unsure as to how a virgin ZC will accept the data in this form.

Opinion would be appreciated.

Still not in the pluginss section yet because it doesn't quite meet the ZC requirements for submission. Language files aren't used to their full extent, and the instructions are somewhat lacking. There was a start to using the languge override system; however, some other priorities have gotten the best of doing that.

Can be found by searching the forum. Then download is described in the first post of the thread.

In a blank Database(no products) this should work just fine
