Login Issues after SSL Installed

Never seen this before, Installed SSL on clean 1.5.4

Registered - sent me to time-out page

Checked DB and customer info was stored

Tried to log in - says customer email address not found

Any Ideas?

Mis-typed email address
Mis-typed password
Stale cookies
Session data being stored in a different location when SSL is active vs when inactive.
Redirect in place (www->non www, or vice versa with active SSL.

Just a few ideas that spring to mind.

Thanks RodG,

Had to change settings in admin>configuration>sessions to Check SSL Session ID

Mis-typed email address
Mis-typed password
Stale cookies
Session data being stored in a different location when SSL is active vs when inactive.
Redirect in place (www->non www, or vice versa with active SSL.

Just a few ideas that spring to mind.
