Development Conference. Thoughts?

As much as I'd love to go to Hawaii, I'd be willing to help out if it was in Chicago as it's only about 2.5 hours away.

I think for this to be a reality, there would have to be concessions on the location to accommodate as many folks as possible.. Otherwise this will have to be a number of "regional" gatherings to better suit those not willing/able to travel too far outside of their geographic location/comfort zone..

Sure I suppose I would.. Except I doubt there's enough folks here even if I include the whole of the Southern California region (Los Angeles/Orange/San Bernardino/Riverside/Ventura/Santa Barbara/San Luis Obispo/San Diego counties) to make it worthwhile..

I personally am willing to travel outside my immediate region. So Chicago, Hawaii, the UK, New York, Oregon, hell even "The Land Down Under" are all areas I would consider traveling to for business..

The devs held a members meeting years ago. Canada somewhere, I think Toronto. I think DrByte lives there.

I would be fine with Toronto. I could easily drive there in a day.
