Attributes Controller Impossibly Slow

Might be able to help if the "fuchsia field" were more formally identified. Action does not require phpmydmin as could be performed in the tools->install sql patches window.

Yes, I specifically meant the "DISCOUNTED" button which is fuschia on my screens but I was using my WindowsRT computer in the production facility and that version of Internet Explorer does not play nice at all with this particular forum.

Fuschia = recalculate and use server resources.
"X" = OFF calculations not needed.

Gonna take a deep breath, cook and eat the take another look at it ... Out host has caused so many problems today that I'm tearing my hair out! Attributes have always had a habit of being intermittenly SLOW so just looking for the best soution

Ok Ran this :

and all seems OK ... still cannot see where to switch it off site-wise. Can anyone login and take a look please?

if you go to Catalog => Product Types , select the appropriate product type and then select layout settings.
You will find the default attribute settings at the bottom. These will be set when creating a new product, and will not change the existing one. That will need to be done through phpmyadmin directly in your database.

Two things... One, am I correct that as far as attributes, that you basically have one option name with one option value allowing the filename of the file(s) to be associated or have you created one option name for each product? (Considering that this is all about downloads)...

The other thing, and I can't believe I didn't think about it, but EasyPopulate v4 offers attribute addition, modification, and removal including handling reference to file downloads...
