Changing Domains on same server

I'm trying to switch domains on the same server.
I followed the directions on this thread https://www.zen-cart.com/content.php?160

I got the information to show up and it looks like the products are all still intact, but the template didn't make the transfer. Do I need to just reinstall the template? Or is there something I'm doing wrong in the configure files to make it go away and that reinstalling it wouldn't help? thanks for your help!

Hi

When you say you got the information to show up, do you mean you got the admin area working or do you mean the front end is up? More information is needed to help. Can you explain where you are moving from and to? And what changes you made to your configuration files? When you say the template is missing do you mean it shows with the classic green or it is messed up? What utility did you use to move the files?

Hate to have a dead end thread, but I ended up just wiping it out and starting over. I would've had to change almost everything around anyway.
but maybe you could answer it so someone doesn't hope to find an answer and not find one. I had all of the pages working, admin, the products were in. It's hosted by godaddy, same hosting account, just different domains. I got everything to transfer except for the template didn't work. It even showed up as the selected template in the zen cart admin. So maybe some css files didn't get transferred correctly? the main page was just a bunch of broken images and no editing. looked like a text file almost. Thanks for the reply.
