overriding extra_datafiles file deifnintions

I wanted to modify a file definition by creating an override. I added the new filenames.php with the new definition for product_listing.php in the extra_datafiles folder. However, the new file definition is only read if I comment out the original file definition in the includes/filenames.php file. How do I make it so that the extra_datafiles definitions will override the other definitions so that I do not have to modify the original filenames.php file to change a definition?

Put the override change into the /extra_configures folder. That folder is loaded prior to the auto_load items which is where the /includes/filenames.php file is loaded.
