Unable to add products or categories after 1.5.4 upgrade.

Upgraded to 1.5.4 a few days ago and everything seemed to be running fine.
Not exactly sure what my old version was maybe 1.4x
Now I tried to add new products or a new category and they do not appear after pressing the insert button.

They do not show up on my Admin or the live website.

Any Help would be appreciated.

What version of PHP is installed on your server?

I will have to check....not even sure how but I assume from the C-Panel?

Something that comes to mind is the old version had a file called ZC_admin and the new one was ZCadmin....without the dash (or visa versa). This is how the update was and not something I changed......might be a good spot to start?

Can I just change names? or swap folders if this is the cause?

You can check that from Zencart admin under Tools - Server/Version Info.

Did you update it yourself, or use your host's auto-install?

Should I change the file name zc_admin? or swap files?....not sure which one was the original now.

Yes I auto install from C-Panel

You should never use the auto-install function to upgrade a Zencart site. It's hard to say what may have been messed up. You may have to start over with a fresh installation of 1.5.4.

Do I have to delete everything or down grade?
What about saving all the -products and templates/pictures?

Doesn't anyone think the problem is the mis-match in the naming of these files?
