Installed the Blank side box module
Is there a way of adding text with a link to a controllable popup window for a defined Page (about us module clone)
Have searched the forum but nothing found.
Any info would be appreciated

Yes the code would be similar to the information, more information and footer menu links.
includes/templates/YOUR_TEMPLATE/common and sideboxes
Then you can load those into a new mobile safe browser window or use the stock popup function similar to the [help?] linkTwitch.
