A brief explanation of why you want to do this might help us. it's possible one of the 'SEO' url-rewriting mods would do that.
Hello and thank you for your reply.
It will be great if I don't have to install any mod...
This website has an "invitation" only registration where the owner sends the link to some people only. It appears that the link has spread out and he wants to change it to a new one so people cannot register without "his permission".
Thanks!
Basically you would be creating a new page. But part of the solution is to change the name of the associated folder of includes/modules/pages/create_account to the name of your choosing... Understand though that this is all going to be a game of changng the folder every once in a while. There are options to allow account acceptance well when the individual is "authorized".
There's more to it than just renaming the above file. Information can be found in the wiki on creating new pages. In fact, could create the new page(s) but leave behind a message indicating the need to have received the request from a "valid" source which also would reduce the impact of the page being considered "lost" to SEs. Speaking of which hopefully that page is already not indexed (can't recall the default setup.)

Thank you mc12345678
I tried changing the folder name but I didn't have luck, although I didn't look for "how to create a new page", thanks for pointing me to the right direction.
Here is the information for those looking to solve this as well https://www.zen-cart.com/wiki/index....ting_new_pages
I think another potential solution could be creating a form so potential customers can fill in the necessary information and then adding them manually utilizing a plugin like this one https://www.zen-cart.com/downloads.php?do=file&id=1477
Thank you very much for your help.
This doesn't seem to solve the issue.
Any other suggestion?
Thanks
