SEO & Customer Experience: Temp Out of Stock, Seasonal and Discontinued Products
Greetings,
Currently, we set out of stock items to 0 qty show they show with a sold out button and can't be added to cart. We set our seasonal and discontinued products to status=0 so they don't show. Sometimes we delete the discontinued products.
However, I don't think this is the best practice for SEO or Customer experience!
What would be the suggested best practice when dealing with temporarily out of stock products, seasonally available products and discontinued products from an SEO and customer experience point of view?
