attributes and layouts

hi,
I am looking at a layout for my products. each product can have 10 different sizes, and within that it may have different technical dimensions, I am in the same business as the sample below and was wondering if this is an attribute layout, something special as in php coding, etc.

I didn't navigate around the site to see other product and product lists, but what it looks like to me is a formatted product listng like when viewing a category... Each product entered individually, with associated data for each product. Besides being tedious, it is not necessarily effective use of the store, in my opinion. No attributes are used, simply the description of each size being in the product name.

There are ways that attributes could be used to simplify that list, but the list of 7 items would dwindle down to 1 or maybe 2 depending on how you wanted to offer the product and present it without loss of the other appplicable data.
