    Default Character Set Issue (Norwegian)

I have another question. I use Norwegian zen cart, and special characters from the Norwegian alphabet is misspelled under product listing: Saturday is wrong: lørdag , should be Lørdag. Example: Lagt til: lørdag 10 oktober, 2015. character: ø should be: Ø.

@arcticbit, I moved this question to a new post - it's best not to add unrelated questions to an existing post.

    What is your database collation
You can change it to utf-8 if it is not set to this with this
    https://www.zen-cart.com/downloads.php?do=file&id=1318

My guess would be that this is a charset issue - check the charset you are using in your configure.php files and in includes/languages/norwegian.php.

... and make sure that the DB_CHARSET that you've specified in your /includes/configure.php and /YOUR_ADMIN/includes/configure.php matches the collation used by your actual database!

It is possible to do it manually from PhpMyAdmin?

How can I see which collation the database is? (from PHPMyAdmin)
