How to delete Contact us Form

My Contact Us form doesnt work, I dont want to spend any more time troubleshooting this.
I have created my contact details in Admin>Tool>Define pages, I just want the form gone.

I have spent some time digging in the forum, and followed all the suggestions;
deleted this: tpl_contact_us_default.php but that makes the whole page disappear, i just want the form gone.

add this to stylesheet.css but it dioesnt do anything

I also get confused with the multiple layers of templates, so i changed them all, didnt help either.
But I have managed to hide the text i recorded under Admin>Tool>Define pages, no idea how I did that.

Is there actually one really simple thing that can be done to remove this contact form?

By not working, if a spammer were to try to submit a contact us request, would you receive it? If so, then using CSS won't solve that part. Although you've indicated that you're done meddling with it, what "doesn't work"?

Can you try replacing includes/modules/pages/contact_us with a fresh copy from the download, deleting your template copy of tpl_contact_us_default.php, and setting admin->configuration->email options->email admin format to text? That might shake out the bug.

Not having a method of contact will hurt conversions; it really would be better to fix the issue.
