Hi

I am selling Candy from my shop and I need a pluggin that i can use on my site.

Example. I am selling candy at £1.25 / 100gm and the customer wants 200gm - i need a pluggin that ia able to do this for me...??

Does such a plugin exist ???

So candy at £1.25 / 100gm could be seen as 1 unit, 200g then makes 2 units. The simplest way to set this up is to create a product which specifies that it is sold in 100g units. The customer adds 3 to the cart and gets 300g.

It would just need some text near the quantity box explaining to the customer that 1 means 100g, 3 is 300g and and and ......

i was thinking of doing something like what you have described. I just throught there may have been a plugin that the buyer can just add the quantity, 567gms and the plugin could calculate the price etc....

You could price by the gram, 100 gram minimum (you choose the minimum) in your choice of increments (1, 10, 100gm...)
You could price by the 100gm, in 100gm minimum in 100 gram increments.

That is built-in.

We sell by the ounce, 1/2 ounce minimum, in tenth ounce increments above the mimimum. That seems to fit your example.

And if you add the dynamic price updated module, the customer can see the price change as he/she types in the amount

It's even possible (if it fits your business model) to offer discounts at various levels of quantities.
