Authorize.net module suddenly quit working communications error

I am on v1.5.1 when I tried to go to 1.5.2 I had so many issues, and had to go back to 1.5.3 Very worried to move to the latest version. Also wish the upgrade path was far easier, or automatic [scan for issues, etc. instead of me checking for any changed files, which I can miss]

current is 5.3

it is AIM. can't upgrade. Try doing the steps, and it fails. The company paid long term for a hosting plan, and I can't upgrade the plan to a newer plan that supports the newer version of zencart. Checking link now

1.5.2 was never intended for production/rrunning live. It was known that there would be issues but seemed like a good way for the team to hammer out what many of those would be and get developers to start making the necessary changes...

I meant 1.5.3 but went back to 1.5.1 because of to many issues. Will check again, when I can have some down time in the site
