Sample Music Not Showing on Product Page

Hello Everyone! I want to include a music sample on a product page (product type - Music). All the directions have been followed and the music mp3 file is uploaded to the correct folder in the web directory. However, the sample does not show up on the product page. I created a brand new test product just to go through all the steps again. Still no sample.

I even tried viewing the website with the classic green template in case the problem was with the template. No sample.

I am scratching my head for what to try next.

Here is a recap of what was done:

• Music Genre, media type, record company and artist are all set-up
• product created as product type Music
• media collection set-up (we put one song in a collection)
• Song assigned to the correct product
• All this and still no sample appears on the product page

This is involves Zen Cart v1.5.1. Please let me know what other information would be helpful to you in helping me to resolve this issue.

Thanks, Kobra - yes, those are the instructions that were used. I am attaching two screen shots so that you can see the set-up.

The store is located in a folder called "shop" and the music files are located under that as follows: shop/media

In your screen shots - where is states "upload to Media directory" there is a drop and "main directory" is showing
When you upload with this - do they end up in your "media" folder?

That's a great observation and question. The drop down only has the one choice "Main Directory". However, when you upload using the zen cart upload feature, the file is placed into the media folder which is located as shown: /shop/media - with "shop" being the directory in which the store is located.

The short answer is: Yes, they do end up in the media folder.

Is there anything else to double-check? I have run out of ideas on what is causing the sample music not to show up on the page.
