Hey Guys,
I am not very far along into this, so please don't shoot me if this idea is idiotic!
Some of my existing sites need updating for mobility compliance. Most are heavily modified. And I have made the decision to wait for the next big ZC version before doing major updates (cuz if it ain't broke, don't fix it).
Anyway, I have noticed that some very big sites make use of subdomains for mobile reflections. For instance, here is a hoverboard demonstration on youtube:

Which can be viewed on your ipad this way:

So for sites that have been flagged by SE as not mobile friendly, I was considering creating my own subdomain, putting up a quick/clean template and serving data to it via a Multi-Site Mod. Then what? XML header code/sitemap to direct SE bot?
Hmm.
Oh. Will need new SSL cert. Bummer.
Still.
Seems easier than a full upgrade.
Thoughts?
Thanks!
