application error SSL Only Secure Content is Displayed

    Hi All,

I am wondering if anybody has a fix for the SSL problem I am encountering.

I have (through cloudflare and my hostpapa account) obtained an SSL certificate.

when I access the https:// site I get the message 'only secured content is displayed'. If I activate 'all content' it falls back to http:// This disables some of the features in the site.

Is there anyway to overcome this?

    Many thanks

    Bob

Multiple ways, primarily depends on what item(s)/content is being pulled with a direct http: call (which is the issue when on an https: page.)

Easiest way to directly assist is to provide the information of the posting tips including the website in question. From there direct suggestions can be provided...

You may want to check how you have your config files set up. By default, Zen-Cart only uses SSL once someone logs into an account or starts the check out process, otherwise it's standard HTTP. If you would like to serve your catalog as HTTPS all the time you need to change your includes/configure.php and admin/includes/configure.php file settings.

    See: https://www.zen-cart.com/content.php?56

The other thing you may want to check is your template. If your template is calling a CDN for things like JQuery or Fonts or something, check your template HTML header file and make sure the links to those are listed as https. The same goes for any images or social media links that may be called from external sources. If those aren't set as https, customers will get a yellow(instead of green) lock in many browsers indicating some secure and insecure items are displayed on the same page.
