I am running into an issue where when I set up my store, I was in a rush to get many products in the catalog. I was adding items in a specific category, but, I was not differentiating them correctly. (I am adding seeds to my store, and when adding the pepper seeds, I just placed them all in a category for Peppers, not subdivided into Hot, Bell, Specialty, etc.)
I am running into an issue now where I would like to subdivide them into to proper categories, but am finding that I have to go to each one, and move that individually, return to the previous category and repeat the process.
Is there a way that I can go thru a list, select the ones that I would like to move with a check box or something similar and move them en mass?
I have to do this for many of my product categories.
If I have to go to each item and move them manually, I will do so, but I would like to find a simpler method, if it is possible.
I am not a programmer or database person, so opening my database to do this off site is not really an option.
If there is any way to do this, any information would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
Kirby
