Can you populate quantity field from URL?

I want to email someone a link to a particular product in my catalog, and have the quantity field update from the default (of one) to a specific number for that individual. Is there something I can put into the url that will change the value of the quantity field?

No, in that this "feature" is not part of Zen Cart nor probably of any shop.
