    Default Fix Cache Key Issue?

I am creating a copy of my store in prepartion for upgrading. However, I have not been able to get the copy working correctly as it will NOT let me log in as a customer.

The only odd thing I have found is a mis-match in the results for Fix_Cache_Key.

"If they do not Match" is the problem. The "synchronized" setting is the FOUND setting...NOT the setting from configure.php.

    Any clues here?

    NORMAL USAGE INSTRUCTIONS:
    * 1. Make sure the DIR_FS_SQL_CACHE setting is correct in your /includes/configure.php file.
    * 2. Copy this file to the folder where "index.php" exists for your Zen Cart site
    * 3. Run it (ie: use your browser and enter the URL to the file you just uploaded)
    * 4. The cache setting from your configure.php file will be displayed, followed by the cache setting from your database.
    * If they match, it will say "No changes required."
    * If they do not match, it will synchronize the database to match the configure.php setting.
    * 5. VERY IMPORTANT .... WHEN DONE, DELETE THIS FILE FROM YOUR SERVER!!!!!!!!!!!
    * If you don't delete it (or at least rename it to something very obscure), then you run the risk of somebody using it to find out information about your server configuration, which could compromise your site's security. Thus, deleting this file when finished is the best approach.

But I still cannot log into my store copy as a customer. I verified the functionality in the online store and it works.

What are the differences between the operating environment of your live site as compared to your store copy? Same server? Same php version? Is this user that can't login newly created at the new site or a previously existing user? Using a subdomain or just a sub-folder?

Otherwise still likely to be a sessions related issue.

    Same host
    Same Server
    in one directory off root
    running as subfolder
user that cannot login is a user from online store. Tried to create a new one that seem to go wonky as well.

www.radiant-holidays.com\RH_test is the link whereas the main site is radiant-holidays.com

Worked for me... Didn't commit the order, but was able to create an account, then progress through purchase. I then logged out and logged back in. Contents of cart maintained...

So it's not a problem with new information/users..
