    Default image resize

    Hi,
Hope this is an easy question. I have over 1000 costumes as JPEG. Each an item in the catalog. Each pic is the Description window as an image. These images are mostly 650 x 1250. I would like to change their size. Any easy way to resize them all at once with in the cart? None of the control panel settings seems to have any effect on this image in the window. Others I can change.
    Thanks,
    Mark

You could install the Image Handler plugin; it will give you the control to resize all of the images "at once" (at first use, anyway).

    HI,
I do have IH4 installed to add a water mark. I just do not see a spot to resize all the images within a items description window.

Just to concur with lat9 - The Image Handler plugin is what you are seeking.

Just as a quick bit of info - with IH installed you don't need to worry about resizing the images - You simply upload the 'best' ones you have (or use your existing ones), and the IH module will resize (and cache) them on an 'as needed' basis (IOW, it will automatically optimise them for the thumbnails and any other intermediate sizes. No need to create the 'traditional' small, medium and large sizes - it is all fully automatic.

IH is always one of the 1st modules I install on any Zencart site.

    Cheers

Fyi, it will not increase the size of the image(s) from their original size.

    HI,
Thanks for the help. IH4 works good I just can not get it to change the size of the pics I have placed in the Product description windows in the center of the product page. They were up loaded as 650 x 1250 and seems no matter what I change they are still very large. The other images I let IH4 manage are about the size I want. With nearly 1200 of them I did not want to have to re do each one.

IH4 works through code published with zen_image not regular html as described. This would need to be addressed through css (if tags were applied) or resiizing the original image(s).

If that's the case, may want to consider incorporating software guys boilerplate code which would/could allow presenting the image(s) with php in the description area.
