Is there any way to reserve certain items (a page perhaps) to be visible only for a specific group of customers?

Understand that in most such targetting, the customer is already to be logged in to be able to get to the specific "area". It is possible to try to target by location of user by other means, which may be mostly reliable. Perhaps you could elaborate more on your goal(s)?

Ok. I see the problem too. Targeting before login is not (?) possible, as the customers are situated in the same area. One approach could be to let all customers see the different groups of products, but not the price before login?

Yes can offer this option by changing the setting for Store Status to 1 found in the admin panel, configuration, my store.

If further segragation of product is desired to display product only to certain groups of customers, then yes will need software that is not a part of the core ZC code. Either a plugin available from the plugins area, or custom code.

Login for Price could replace the add to cart button/price details if you want. The code that operates showing/hiding guest/retail/wholesale can be modified. Plus it doesn't require changing the store status - the Twitch modules leave the stock Zen controls intact :)
